Author’s Notes: I do have a tendency to not be able to think of things for theprimeval100 challenges until it is too late to post. Written in, quite literally five minutes when inspiration suddenly struck.
Summary: Connor had a horrible habit of coming to important decisions too late.
Connor stood with a preparatory breath as the wedding march started.
He glanced across at his friends, needing courage.
Claudia smiled at him, looking positively radiant in pregnancy even if she insisted she only looked fat.
Nick smiled in understanding, bouncing their four year old daughter on his knee to keep her quiet. He’d already been in Connor’s position twice before.
And Abby smiled too, but hers was tinged with a sadness she couldn’t hide.
Connor knew then that he should have told her. That she wouldn’t have turned him down.
He’d regret it for the rest of his life.
