Did I mention lately how much I hate Twilight?
Having had the misfortune to see some of Twilight, I am quite happy to pronounce it a huge pile of crap. Not only is it actually fairly bad, it's lead characters are so irritating and, in some cases, downright disturbing that I feel mildly concerned that some teenage girls seem to idolise them.

A controlling, creepy stalker is not romantic people no matter how much he says he loves you (especially after he's told you how much he wants to kill you). A frankly pathetically weak female lead is not a good role model.

And vampires DO NOT SPARKLE!!!!

So, I bring you the rather brilliant Buffy vs Edward, wherein our favourite vampire slayer acts exactly how a girl should do in these circumstances.

I rather liked Twilight, but that video is brilliant :-)

I saw this a few days ago (it was posted on the Farscape comm... because we like things like this) and was very gleeful on watching.

One day I will write badly enough that I sell as many books as Meyer *snerk*

I wholly agree with you. But I still love Twilight. Why? Because of the fanfic where Edward is normal and Bella is a strong female character. After the fanfic, reading the book is just... Bad.

I love my vampire stuff, but even I won't touch Twilight with a ten-foot barge pole.

Heh! I was in Waterstones yesterday and saw something by Meyers and thought of you.

Say it loud, then say it again.
