Epic fail is epic
I haven't seen this clip in so long and it still makes me laugh.

The comments on the actual page are also priceless.

Altogether now... Spell casting: E P I C F A I L

LOL.

The fail. it is EPIC.

(And I don't remember this show - which is weird, because I was normally ALL OVER this semi-fantasy gameshow crap when I was a kid. When was it made?)

It's the brilliant Knightmare and it was on late 80's to mid 90's.

Ah, that explains it - I would have been too young to be into it. I was born 1989, and before 1996 the only TV I was interested in was The Animals of Farthing Wood, the Disney films of Lady and the Tramp and Robin Hood, and the Fun House (that game show where all the kids got gunged going round this big obsticle course?)

Loved Animals of Farthing Wood and Fun House! :D

I was born 81 so I saw the later series of Knightmare. I was a bit too young still for the early ones. It was bit scary for a little kid :)

I think my first EVER crush was on one of the blond twins who helped that guy present Fun House. (Well - actually - my first ever EVER crush was on Penelope in Thunderbirds - but even for a six year old that's a little weird, so I don't spread it around much. -_^)

I haven't played the clip, but I do have a fair amount of Knightmare on DVD - very tricky some of those questions.

For these kids telling right from left proved to be equally tricky! :D

Yep. Some of the kids in Raven (the nearest modern equivalent) have the same problem.

I have some unfinished Knightmare fanfic somewhere. And it occurs to me that 'Tregard and Raven v Lord Fear' would be fun (the point of these shows from the viewer's pov is not the game but the backstory.)
